Paukan 47 was built initially as a cargo and passenger ship in 1947 and started its first journey in 1950. After having been converted in 1998, the ship offers passengers comfortable cruises in Myanmar.
Three decks offer a sun deck with comfortable rattan chairs, a promenade, a dining room and a cozy salon with bar. 16 teak paneled cabins are equipped with aroma lamps and handmade soaps. Passengers can look forward to a variety of delicious European and Asian dishes. Vegetarian menus are also available (advance order necessary). On request, at Christmas and New Year’s Day fantastic dinners with bonfire and traditional dance and music performances on sandy island beaches will be organized.
