Wir sind für Sie da.
Worse service ever. I just returned from a cruise on Costa Pacifica and I want to share my impressions. I'm surprised that anyone could leave positive reviews about this ship. This is my 11th cruise and unfortunately, the worst one. The ship is very tired, there is a lot of rust, dirt and dust in the corners. I've been on old ships before, but they were kept clean and tidy. There is not a single location where I would like to take a photo. The food at the buffet is very mediocre, especially for breakfast. The croissants usually ran out 30 minutes before the end of breakfast and were simply not served. The free water in the buffet was absolutely terrible, it stank of bleach and it (and possibly something else) gave me and my fellow travelers stomach problems. Oh well, we bought bottled water and the food in the restaurant with service was pretty good. But what you cannot put up with is the absolute rudeness at the Reception and in the restaurant. At the restaurant we came across a waiter, John, from India (by the way, 80% of the staff there were from India). John refused us if we wanted to order more than one dish per person from primi, secondi etc. For the reason that “he has a lot of tables and doesn’t have time to carry a lot of plates.” And all this was said in such a boorish tone, like “know your place.” He took orders for drinks after ordering food and often brought drinks for the third course, 20-30 minutes after we did our orders. When I told him that this was not my first time on a cruise and that I could always order as many dishes as I wanted, he still accepted the order for several dishes, but then he simply threw the plates on the table and all at once. On the first evening, my friends were late and I wanted to order for them, but he refused me, saying that you can only order for yourself, but my friends won’t be allowed in because the doors are already closed. Anyway, I went to the buffet to look for friends. The buffet dinner was a disaster, where queues are artificially created and for dinner you have to stand in line for 20-30 minutes. As a result, my friends ended up in a restaurant with service, and I ate at the buffet. Thanks to John, the first dinner didn't work out together.
