MSC tries to take extra money from passengers with any possible reasons you can only imagine. Even if something on board has a price with 15 % service charge, this same service charge is taken again in the final invoice (means MSC imposes a service charge on the service charge). Worse is that any unpleasing MSC information (especially on taxation, service charges) are mostly written in such small characters you cannot almost read it. There were many strange things we saw, but maybe we only had bad luck....???
MSC tries to make its business as efficient as possible. Because of this you will find the same quantity of pools, whirlpools, clubs, bars and discos for 3300 passengers as on other ships for 2500 persons. Effects are obvious - it is very hard to swim, to use exercise rooms etc. Is just too crowdy.
Cabin staff is very friendly and competent.
