Konstanza is Romania's most important sea port at the Black Sea and has a population of 330,000. Sights include: the Roman ruins (a trading house with a floor mosaic, basilicas and imperial necropolis), the statue of Ovid, the lighthouse dating from the 13th century, several churches and a mosque.
