With Carnival Festivale, Carnival Cruise Line will launch a new ship in 2027 whose concept is entirely centred around rhythm, connection and shared holiday enjoyment. The design is modern yet comfortable. Restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and relaxation areas are spread across six themed zones, each creating its own distinctive atmosphere.
From Spectacular Soundscapes to Open-Air Celebrations
Studio 724 is one of the ship’s main highlights. Spanning two levels, the venue combines immersive sound with lighting, moving images and other multimedia elements. In keeping with the theme, Le Bistro Musicale serves French-inspired dishes in surroundings reminiscent of a Parisian café. At The Spark, evening live performances accompany creatively named drinks, while guests at Mix can create their own cocktails from a range of flavours. The popular Alchemy Bar also returns, combining individually prepared drinks with an expanded lounge and a stage for live music.
The Festival offers a completely different atmosphere. This open zone brings the spirit of a music festival to the sea. Guests can stroll, dance and sample a variety of dishes. Pizza Palooza and Rhythm & Rolls Deli reflect the casual variety of modern food trucks. After sunset, Festival Grounds Coffee & Bar changes the mood, accompanying the area from morning coffee through to evening drinks.
Activities, Relaxing Hours and Culinary Variety
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the basketball and pickleball court or take on one of two high ropes courses. One route even extends beyond the edge of the deck. Table football, mini golf and shaded spectator areas complete the offering. Carnival WaterWorks Ultra provides plenty of water-based fun with family slides, racing lanes, a winding children’s slide and separate splash zones.
Summer Landing, by contrast, offers a relaxed atmosphere with a pool, hot tub and The Watering Hole bar. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse serves meat smoked over hickory wood and Parched Pig beers brewed nearby. Further dining options range from Mediterranean dishes at Fetaccine and tropical Asian creations at Uku Lei Lei to seafood at Emeril’s Coastal Seafood. The selection is complemented by Bonsai Teppanyaki, Seafood Shack and Street Eats, serving bao buns, kebabs, satay and fries with unusual toppings.
