Besides the luxurious and airy design, the Celebrity Edge impresses with its high-quality cabins and a variety of innovations on board that have never been seen before. With a total length of 300 meters, the ship can accommodate up to 2900 passengers who can look forward to an unique experience with various highlights. The ocean-going vessel also impressed the Forbes Travel Guide, which awarded the ship four stars based on strict evaluation criteria.

The Magic Carpet, an elevator on the starboard side who drives up and down between the different decks, acts as the architectural masterpiece of the impressive cruise ship. Known as the master of transformation, it can change its function depending on the deck it stops. While it functions as special restaurant with a “Dinner on the edge” experience on deck 16, it alters to an extension of the pool area on deck 14. On deck 2 the Magic Carpet serves as tender platform which allows passengers to leave the ship quickly before they can start for nice shore leaves. Another highlight is the Roof Top Garden which invites its guests to stroll around or go for a picnic between beautiful plants. In the evening passengers can listen to live music and enjoy the beautiful lighting atmosphere. Another special feature of the Celebrity Edge is the symbiosis between the cruise ship experience and the ocean which gets pointed out by the usage of a lot of glass on board and special design elements very close to the sea surface.

The Celebrity Edge puts high emphasis on enough space in the cabins. Hence, all cabins were extended and especially the bathrooms, living areas and storage rooms. Cabins with porches are equipped with foldable doors which create a special feeling of being close to the ocean. Furthermore two new types of suites with a variety of highlights were introduced. One of them is the iconic-suite which covers an area of 240 square meters and possesses two bed- and two bathrooms. In addition guests can enjoy a breathtaking 270 degree view over the ocean. The Edge - Villas are equipped with a luxurious and private plunge pool. In addition all suite guests have access to the retreat-area where they can find an exclusive sun deck, a pool bar, lounge and a high quality suite-class-restaurant.
