Sea Cloud fascinates passengers with its special history. Built in 1931, at that time Sea Cloud was the biggest private sailing yacht worldwide. The construction was ordered by one of the wealthiest business people of the Wall street, Edward Francis Hutton and his wife Marjorie Merriweather Post.
After two and a half years of military service for the USA, Sea Cloud was rebuilt in 1949. At the end of 1979 the luxury yacht started its first cruise under a new flag. Since the renovation in 2010, Sea Cloud shines in a new splendor (the nostalgic character was maintained). Today the main cruising areas are Europe and the Caribbean.
Up to 64 passengers are invited to stay in 32 comfortable cabins. The historic furniture and the attention to detail is still findable especially in the 10 cabins in the original area of the ship. These luxurious suites are the former bedchambers of the Hutton family and fascinate with timeless elegance.
