With a population of more than 250,000 Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska and lies in the Southcentral region. This city, founded in 1913, has shopping centres and a great many restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels. Sights include: the University of Anchorage and the Museum of History and Arts.
