Lizard Island is the most northerly holiday island in Queensland and is one of the most exclusive in the world. Relaxed luxury, game fishing, culinary delights and incomparable areas for diving are what have made the island famous. The island with an area of around 1,000 ha lies amid the turquoise-blue coral lagoons and smaller islands. Up to a depth of 15 m you can encounter the huge variety of species of fish here, including huge, cod-like fish that can weigh up to 60 kg.
