AIDAnova – A New Generation of Cruise Ships

The AIDAnova is the first ship of the next generation of AIDA Cruises ships. It belongs to the AIDA Helios class and represents a new concept in many ways: as the world’s first cruise ship the AIDAnova can be operated with 100 per cent liquid natural gas while respecting the environment. Also innovative is the Starlink internet service, which allows travelers to access high-speed Wi-Fi.

Innovative Service, Gastronomy & Entertainment

Guests will also enjoy new innovative concepts in service, catering and entertainment. 17 restaurants offer a wide range of culinary delights. There are 5 specialty restaurants, 6 à la carte restaurants , 5 buffet restaurants and 1 snack bar. In addition, 23 different bars offer a large selection of drinks. The dishes in the 5 specialty restaurants and the snack bar as well as full board with a choice of drinks in the 5 buffet restaurants are already included in the cruise price.

Entertainment is the keynote at AIDA. Parties, shows and well-known TV-formats to take part in provide funny and entertaining hours.

Wellness, Sports & Fun

The large wellness area with saunas, spa treatments and a spacious sun deck with three outdoor Jacuzzis invites you to relax and to have a rest. Sports enthusiasts will find their way into the modern gym with indoor and outdoor areas. There you can find the latest fitness equipment, a jogging track and more than 30 weekly fitness courses.

Children and teenagers will not be bored on board the AIDAnova. They will love the various water slides, the water playground, the climbing garden, minigolf and much more. The Mini-, Kids- and Teens-Club offer varied programs and activities for younger and older children.

AIDAnova – A Home Away From Home

On board the AIDAnova, 2,500 cabins provide space for about 6,000 passengers. Guests can choose between 19 different cabin categories. All cabins are equipped with a bathroom with shower / WC, towels, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV and a telephone. Whether family or double cabins, new especially designed single cabins, premium, junior or penthouse suites – on board the AIDAnova everyone will find a home away from home.
