With innovative cruise experiences on the EXPLORA I, the Explora Journey shipping company is setting a new milestone in the cruise industry. As the luxury cruise line's first ship, the 248-meter vessel promises a new kind of luxury. As the name suggests, exploration is the focus here. With a crew-to-passenger ratio of 1 to 1.25, it's ensured that every passenger request can be addressed as quickly as possible. Up to 900 guests can be pampered on 14 passenger decks. There is also an impressive Rolex Store on board. It is the only one of its kind on board of a ship.

Relaxation and entertainment on the high seas

Three outdoor pools equipped with 64 private cabanas, several indoor and outdoor whirlpools, an indoor pool with a retractable glass roof as well as the large wellness area offer complete relaxation for body and soul in any weather. Those who don't want to miss out on sporting activities can work out on the latest fitness equipment in the 270-square-meter fitness area, take part in various sports courses with other passengers, enjoy the panoramic view on the running track, or discover new opportunities in the world of sports for themselves with a personal trainer. A varied program on board is also provided by the various bars offering entertainment, the casino, the numerous shopping opportunities and the art gallery.  

Interaction with the environment

The aspect of sustainability is always present on the ship. Not only does the ship have MGO propulsion, but it is also equipped with a battery for a lower-emission journey and can save fuel by being connected to shore power. To protect underwater wildlife, advanced technologies are used to reduce underwater noise. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on waste separation and the avoidance of disposable plastic products. In addition, special wastewater and energy-saving air conditioning and heating systems are used.

Culinary delights on board

Nine different restaurants with flexible meal times spoil the palate with international delicacies. These include the finest Asian cuisine, Mediterranean dishes and, of course, a steakhouse. For those who want to create culinary works of art, a visit to the onboard cooking school is a must. In the numerous bars and lounges, travelers can enjoy the gorgeous view with a refreshing drink, both indoors and outdoors.

Luxurious suites overlooking the sea

The ship is an illustration of luxury and modern elegance. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the 461 suites overlooking the sea and a terrace with seating and lounging options make passengers feel even closer to the sea, and they can enjoy the play of colors as the sun rises on the water early in the morning. A seating area with sofa and a tea and coffee maker are also part of the basic equipment of all suites. Starting with the Residence suite category, a butler service is also included. The Owner's Residence Suite is the largest suite on board and is particularly impressive with a 125-square-meter terrace including a private whirlpool.
