From 2024, the second luxury ship from EXPLORA Journeys will explore beautiful destinations around the globe. With a length of 248 metres and a width of 32 metres, up to 900 passengers can look forward to an unforgettable travel experience with many highlights on board.

The cruise ship's innovative design is particularly impressive: elegant Swiss precision combined with modern European craftsmanship.

On board, the EXPLORA II offers a total of 461 suites and residences with sea view. Starting with a minimum size of 35 square metres, the suites are thus among the most spacious in the luxury cruise category. In addition, the ship offers 82 "multi-generation-friendly” suites with connecting doors.

Furthermore, the elegant rooms have been equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces, allowing guests to fully enjoy the beautiful ports and the unique sea feeling. Other special features include generous walk-in wardrobes with dressing tables.

Advanced environmental technologies

The luxury ship is equipped with the latest environmentally friendly technologies and innovations which can adapt to alternative energy solutions as they become available. Explora Journeys thus aims to make an important mark for a sustainable future in the cruise industry.

With regard to the construction of the cruise ship, battery storage systems are built in to enable hybrid power generation. Furthermore, the new technologies offer the possibility of selective catalytic reduction (SCR), which can reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by 90%.

In addition, no single-use plastic is used or offered on board the ship or during land excursions. This measure is intended to leave a positive impression and footprint on the places and people visited during the sea voyages.

Well-being and entertainment

On board EXPLORA II, passengers can look forward to culinary experiences with a focus on healthy, high-quality food from local and sustainable sources. Guests can choose between 6 different restaurants, each offering different and varied international dishes.

Passengers can relax and recharge their batteries in impressive wellness facilities covering a total area of approx. 700 square metres. Moreover, there are three large pools on the outside decks as well as 64 private Cabañas that invite you to relax. In addition, spacious fitness facilities with the latest equipment create the optimal motivation for sporting activities.

Furthermore, there are first-class lounge areas both indoors and outdoors with selected entertainment offers. Explora Journeys offers, among other things, a diverse programme of unforgettable events.
