Like all other ships of the French shipping company CroisiEurope, Magellan is characterized by spacious and bright rooms with furniture in warm colors. All cabins are outside cabins with window or porthole, shower and WC, controllable air conditioning, television and radio. The language on board is French. Sometimes German-Speaking staff is also available.

Constructed in 2003, the 75-meter-long Magellan can accommodate up to 138 passengers. The 897 km Douro river is the main cruising area of the ship.
