Seabourn Ovation
The Seabourn Ovation is identical to its sister ship Seabourn Encore. Like all ships of the fleet, the Seabourn Ovation offers first-class service in addition to its elegant and extensive interior: enough room is provided for up to 604 passengers, who are pampered by an obliging crew. Concerning the latter, the passenger crew ratio of 1: 1.6 enables a personal and meticulous service on board. Life on board is further improved by particularly fast Starlink Internet.
Included services for a carefree holiday at seaPassengers can enjoy all non-alcoholic beverages such as mineral water, coffee, espresso, tea and juices as well as the many different specialty restaurants free of charge during their journey. Additionally, a shuttle service is offered at most of the ports, bringing guests from the ship to the city centre. For guests staying at the concierge level, access to the private spa terrace of the Canyon Ranch Spa Club is further included.
Diverse cuisine and flexible restaurant choiceThe five restaurants on board offer a rich and varying selection of meals for every taste. In addition to the main restaurant "The Restaurant", where lunch and dinner are served in an elegant but at the same time, casual setting and dress code, there are many other meal options. Sushi and Sashimi lovers can appease their hunger in the sushi restaurant, whereas gourmet enthusiasts longing for rather hearty food may enjoy the various barbecue dishes prepared by celebrity chef Thomas Keller at “the Grill”. The Patio Grill on the deck near the pool serves its guest grill specialties, salads, pizza and seafood alfresco which enables to still catch some sun whilst eating or having a quick snack in between swims. The Colonade restaurant offers a daily changing buffet or à la carte menu in the open show kitchen during the day, and typical regional dishes are served at the table in the evening.
Excellent variety of activitiesThere is a wide range of leisure facilities for variety. On many routes a direct plunge in the sea or taking a kayak or sailing trip directly from the ship via the ship's marina is possible. Of course there is also a casino on board, in which ones luck can be tested during a round of roulette, blackjack and poker are played or by playing one of the slot machines. In the evening, different artists perform in the show lounge. From classical music to comedians to dance shows, everything is offered.
The "Spa at Seabourn" spa area with saunas, pool, treatment rooms and thermal suite, extends over two levels and offers everything needed for relaxation and recreation on board. Guests can also unwind in the "The Retreat" lounge, where one of 15 private cabanas can be rented for some more quietness. For the more active, the fitness center is provided with modern fitness equipment and offers various sports courses such as Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi without additional payment. Besides, a giant chess and shuffleboard as well as gold on deck invites to play along with other passengers.
