Observe Norway's dreamlike landscapes on board the Midnatsol
Midnight Sun is the name of the postal ship Midnatsol. The Midnatsol owes its name to the phenomenon that it hardly gets dark on the Nordic nights around 20 June. At 136 metres long, the ship, which was built in 2003, is one of the largest in the Hurtigruten liner service along the Norwegian coast. It can take up to 570 passengers on a voyage.
Inviting cabins and impressive decor
The Midnatsol offers many cabins and a large selection of suites. Some suites on the Midnatsol boast large bay windows, while other special features of the ship include the contemporary glass atrium in the centre of the ship and the panorama saloon above the bow, which boasts large window fronts across two decks.
