After the construction in 1997, Mein Schiff 2 (the former Celebrity Mercury of the company Celebrity Cruises) was completely redesigned and modernized in 2011. In 2019 TUI Cruises will change the ships' name in Mein Schiff Herz.
Great emphasis is put on the feel-good factor. In comparison to the first Mein Schiff, Mein Schiff 2 / Mein Schiff Herz offers a more spacious wellness and children area. The sports and cardio sector shines with high panorama windows, outdoor areas and a jogging area.
At breakfast time you can get served in the Atlantic restaurant. The buffet restaurant Anckelmannsplatz offers an integrated ice cream parlor. Furthermore a sports bar, a show stage at the pool and a digital library are at your disposal.
All cabins of Mein Schiff 2 / Mein Schiff Herz are modern and in accordance with the color concept of TUI Cruises (100 colors blue) furnished. They are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, telephone, minibar, flat-screen television, air conditioning as well as a Nespresso machine. The smallest cabins measure 16 m² whereas the suites offer 49 m² of living area and a 24 m² veranda. Family cabins measure 20 m² and have a 7-9 m² balcony. Up to five persons can live in these cabin category. Apart from that, seven barrier-free outside cabins and one barrier-free inside cabin is bookable.
Because of the premium all-inclusive concept passengers can get a broad variety of drinks even outside mealtimes for free.
