The Costa Pacifica is a cruise ship of the Italian shipping company Costa Cruises that entered service in 2009 and belongs to the Concordia class. It has a length of 290 metres and can accommodate up to 3,780 passengers. Pacifica means "peaceful" and that is also what the ship exudes. The Costa Pacifica offers several culinary options. Guests can dine à la carte in the My Way restaurant and enjoy a varied dinner that includes main courses with a variety of fish and meat options. The New York New York restaurant also offers an à la carte menu. A traditional seating arrangement applies for dinner. Passengers can also have breakfast and lunch here in open seating. In the Paloma buffet restaurant, ship passengers can put together their own meals. Pasta, fresh salads, fresh fruit and desserts are available here. The Club Blue Moon restaurant serves other culinary delights in addition to the regular menu of the main restaurants. The Samsara restaurant offers light and healthy dishes, where each dish is a work of art. Both restaurants have a surcharge and reservations are required. New on board is the innovative Archipelago restaurant, which offers special moments of pleasure with extravagant menus.
A wide range of entertainment options on board the Costa Pacifica
There is no room for boredom on board the Costa Pacifica. Guests can shop in various luxury boutiques or read a book in the library. There is also an internet room where they can use the internet for a fee. For true relaxation, the Samsara Spa is the place to be. The 6,000 m² spa area has a balneotherapy pool, several treatment rooms, a sauna and several wellness facilities. In addition, passengers can relax in five whirlpools or in one of the four swimming pools.
For sports lovers, there is a fitness room, a running track and several sports fields for various sports activities. Children (3-17 years) can have fun in the special kids' clubs, such as the Squok Club and the Teen's Zone. In addition, they can go to the children's pool, which also has a water slide. The cabins on the Costa Pacifica are spacious and comfortably furnished. There are different categories of inside and outside cabins as well as balcony cabins and suites.
