Discover Norway's beauty on board the Nordlys
The Hurtigruten mail ship Nordlys was named after the phenomenon of the Northern Lights in the polar regions. The 122-metre-long Nordlys, built in 1994, can take up to 590 passengers on a liner voyage along the Norwegian coast. The ship was modernised in 2024. Since then, the ship's interior design has captivated with bright colours and elegant details, giving the ship a special flair, just like the Northern Lights light up the sky.
Pleasant atmosphere thanks to modern facilities
On the sun deck, in the panorama lounge or in a cosy armchair in the lobby, passengers will find the relaxation they have been longing for. In the cafeteria or in one of the three bars, guests can find their favourite spot. Souvenirs are available in the on-board shop. In the 3 restaurants, guests can expect generous buffets with Norwegian specialities and other culinary delights, as well as special à la carte experiences and popular dishes from all over the world. In the Multe bakery, guests can enjoy delicious pastries as well as a special jam made from the rare Norwegian cloudberry.
