Scenic Eclipse is setting new standards in the cruise industry. It is the first expedition yacht that can sail to almost any area of the world. Through innovative technologies, the yacht is able to sail the seas with the least amount of noise and vibration. Furthermore, oversized stabilisers ensure a pleasantly calm cruise. Thanks to dynamic GPS positioning, the Discovery Yacht™ can maintain its position without having to drop its anchor on the sensitive seabed. Expeditions with Scenic Eclipse
Passengers on the Scenic Eclipse have the chance to discover the flora and fauna of the destinations from all possible angles. Two Airbus helicopters are on board, offering sightseeing flights at various locations. The impressive nature can not only be admired from the air, but also under water. Scenic Neptune is a Worx Cruise Submarine 7, which can dive to a depth of 300 meters and offers enough space for up to six guests. The expedition team of up to 20 people, consisting of historians, archaeologists, geologists and photographers, make unforgettable experiences possible. From lectures in the modern theatre on board, to guided kayak tours and nature hikes, to trips with the Zodiacs in front of massive glaciers – the expedition team will share their enthusiasm and knowledge about these breathtaking regions with the travellers.
Life on board of the Luxury-Yacht
With an all-inclusive service, the Scenic Eclipse guarantees a culinary journey. Enjoy the fine cuisine of the culinary team in up to eight restaurants. In addition, live cooking shows presenting regional dishes of the destinations can be enjoyed on deck 5 in the Scenic Épicure. Should guests wish to retreat a little for dinner, they can choose from a 24h suite menu and dishes are brought to them by the butler service. The evening can be finished off with a special drop of wine or any of 100 different whiskeys in one of the nine bars and lounges. The Senses Spa, the health and wellness area on board, is an excellent place to let the eventful expeditions fade out. The offer ranges from numerous saunas, pools and massages to a wide range of different treatments. To stay physically fit during the voyage, the POWER Gym and PURE Yoga & Pilates Studio offer all kinds of training options. Of course, private personal trainers and yoga instructors are available to assist guests upon request.
Veranda Suites for all passengers
Spread over five decks, there are 114 suites on board the Scenic Eclipse. All suites have a floor-to-ceiling window front that can be opened to the balcony and floods the rooms with natural light. The suites range from 32 m² to 245 m² Penthouse Suites. The accommodations feature custom-made furniture, modern facilities, a separate bedroom and living area, butler service and much more to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This is a great place to replenish energy reserves after a fascinating day.
