Exploring Norway's artistic towns with the Nordkapp
The Hurtigruten mail ship Nordkapp owes its name to the Nordkapp, a slate plateau that rises steeply out of the Arctic Ocean, approximately 2100 kilometres from the North Pole. Built in 1996 and modernised in 2022, the ship serves the Hurtigruten liner service along the Norwegian coast. The 123 metre long Nordkapp offers space for 590 passengers.
Unique atmosphere and modern amenities
Paintings by the Norwegian coastal painter Karl Erik Harr give the saloon a special flair. After arriving on the Nordkapp, guests like to go to the sun deck to enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Those who prefer a roof over their heads can sit back and relax either in the saloon or in the panorama lounge. Indulge in culinary delights in the restaurant and have a drink in the bar. The Nordkapp also has a shop, a library and conference rooms.
Norwegian gastronomy
The menu in the main restaurant, Torget, offers Scandinavian dishes at mealtimes, including many delicious fish dishes. Vegetarians and passengers who wish to follow a diet plan will also find plenty to suit them. International dishes and refreshing drinks are served in the bistro to keep hunger pangs at bay.
Welcome aboard the Nordkapp on a route full of natural beauty!
