Explora Journeys Cruises

MSC Group is entering the luxury cruise segment with the launch of the Explora Journeys brand in 2021, based in Geneva. Built by Fincantieri, starting with Explora I between 2023 and 2026, the first four cruise ships of the luxury cruise line will sail the world's oceans, embodying a concept where luxury and sustainability merge. The concept is designed to appeal to guests who identify with the exclusivity on offer and who want to unfold on journeys of discovery.

Making the impossible possible - sea exclusivity

A special feature of Explora Journeys are the newly designed itineraries that call at popular destinations as well as lesser-known, delightful destinations. A unique guest experience through expeditions in smaller groups, long stay times and modern ship technologies, ensure an all-round experience. Thereby, there is the possibility to independently and individually determine and combine certain destinations as a place to stay.

Luxurious suites with verandas welcome the travelers with an unforgettable view, into the distance. Starting with a substantial suite size of 35 square meters (including veranda), guests are offered an extensive selection of suite categories to find their perfect retreat on board.

Explora Journeys conjures up culinary delights and offers various leisure, sports and wellness facilities. Onboard, passengers can perfectly live out their personal vacation experience in the spa area. Thermal areas, wellness oases, treatment rooms and beauty salons are available for guests' well-being.

Explora Journeys proves that travel can also be combined with the environment with its advanced sustainable technology. The ships are suitable for shore power and equipped with state-of-the-art SCR catalytic converters and hybrid propulsion with battery storage and systems that reduce underwater noise.
