Fremantle was founded in 1829 and was the capital of western Australia in the early 19th century. For many migrants, the harbour represented the gateway to the land "Down Under" and Fremantle developed into a multicultural town. It is most famous for its market.

Fremantle

The excursion begins with a coach transfer to the well-known Maritime Museum, the starting point for the 90-minute walk through the city. A highlight of the trip will be the visit to the Round House. This is followed by the return to the ship. Participants will also have the option of exploring the city under their own steam and making their own way back to the ship.

Yanchep National Park

The excursion begins with the coach trip along the coast to the Yanchep National Park, with time to look around the resort. The trip then continues to Lake Monger, with free time to stroll around and to take in the famous black swans. A picnic in Kings Park is included.

South-western Australia and Karri Forest overland

A two-day tour in southwest Australia. The first day will see visits to Fremantle, Pemberton and the Margaret River. The night will be spent in Kerri Forest. The second day includes visits to the Gloucester tree, the treetop walk and Albany.
